Linley Buchanan
Director
Linley’s communications and project management skills have developed over 30 years. She first entered the industry with what is now the Water Corporation and in 1987, co-founded Impact Communications. Linley’s highly specialised skill set has seen her coordinate state and national conferences and forums; manage the media for visiting international heads of state; develop and implement large scale communication strategies and project lead many campaigns and public awareness programs. As a co-director of Impact Communications, Linley closely supervises all professional service areas within the company.
Les Buchanan
Director
Prior to co-founding Impact Communications in 1987 with Linley, Les worked for the leading global public relations and communications firm, Burson-Marsteller. As a communications professional for over 30 years, Les’ vast experience has seen him project manage the staging of major publicity launches; develop and implement communication strategies; facilitate community relations and consultation campaigns; and deliver the provision of public relations counsel and coordination of marketing and media publicity for international, national and local corporations and government instrumentalities.
Simon Temby
Design Manager
Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Design) and has over 10 years experience in a diverse range of design and production environments. He has worked in magazine publishing; silk screening; corporate identity and branding design; advertising; and, packaging design and production both locally and in Europe. Simon is competent in a wide range of computer design packages and project manages the design and production of an extensive portfolio of marketing and advertising material for a range of Impact’s clients.
Chris Buchanan
Consultant
Chris holds 10 years of marketing communications experience. He project manages the production of promotional and marketing collateral for Impact clients and is experienced in campaign and program management; specifically in the areas of key stakeholder liaison and B2B relationships. Chris also provides project management and logistical support for client projects undertaken by Impact Communications.
Meesha Stacker
Event Consultant
Meesha joined Impact in 2008, prior to which she worked as the corporate hospitality coordinator for Rally Australia and as an events executive in London. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Management and Marketing) and has extensive management experience for corporate, sporting and tourism events as well as marketing and promotions experience. Meesha is the bookings manager for the heritage listed venue Mt Eliza House.
Tobias John
Consultant
Tobias joined Impact Communications in June 2008. He assists with large scale corporate events, launches, promotional activities, and produces copywriting and editorial. Tobias also assists in the development and delivery of marketing communications campaigns. He is currently studying a Master of Commerce (Electronic Marketing) at the University of Western Australia and also holds a BA Mass Communication (Public Relations and Journalism) from Curtin University of Technology.
Jon Buchanan
Consultant
Jon has six years experience consulting in communications. Throughout his career, Jon has project managed a range of corporate communications and marketing campaigns both locally and in regional areas of Western Australia. In addition, Jon is responsible for the day to day accounting processes and financial management of Impact Communications.
Kellie Smith
Distribution Co-ordinator
Kellie is Impact Communications’ distribution guru. She is responsible for database management, distribution projects and administrative support. Kellie manages the storage and distribution of marketing and promotional materials for Impact clientele through the company’s offsite warehouse facility. She is also there to help the team when we need more hands on deck for major projects.
