Project Scope

The Office of Road Safety devised an outdoor drink driving campaign to coincide with the Winter Arts Festival in Perth. A series of animations designed by urban artists were combined into a sequence called the ‘Art of Safe Driving’. The drink driving messages were then projected onto high profile buildings throughout Perth.

Our Action

Impact Communications, in consultation with the Client and advertising agencies, sourced various sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area that would obtain maximum exposure for the projected animation series. The new Lumens LCD Projectors are specifically designed to create a high contrast, sharp image on a large scale.

Our fully trained staff managed the series of projections throughout Perth for the duration of the campaign.

The Impact

The animations series were played at various sites including the Regal Theatre on Rokeby Road, The Endeavour building in Fremantle, The Blue Room, Alexander Library, Central Institute of Technology and the Western Power building ensuring the Drink Driving messages gained maximum exposure through the creative medium.
